Dyfi Enduro 2020 – Cancelled due to Coronavirus Pandemic
We are very sorry to announce that due to government public safety guidance on the Coronavirus pandemic it will be necessary to cancel the 2020 Dyfi Enduro. The safety and security of our attendees is paramount so while we are sad that the event will not go ahead this year we feel certain that this is the right decision and one that our riders will fully support.
Entrants will be offered the option of a full refund or can carry their entry over to a guaranteed place in the 2021 event. We will issue full information of how to obtain a refund or carry over ticket in the next week via email and with details posted to the event page
We are aware that the impacts of this cancellation will be felt, not just by our riders, but by our event team and by the local economy and people of the town that has always played such a great host to these events. The Dyfi Enduro has, since its inception, tried to ensure that the event brought benefit to the local community and particularly in light of our cancellation in 2018 due to a waterlogged event field, we feel particularly sad to have to take this very necessary decision.
However, if there is one thing that the event has taught us, it is that we are a strong community and our bonds and comradeship provide our greatest strength. So while we might be missing a spoke, the wheel keeps turning and the event will return on 8th/9th May 2021. When it does, we feel sure that our riders, their supporters, event team and the good people of Machynlleth who support the event will be ready to give it their all in order to make it the best year the event has ever seen.
Better still, 2021 is an important year as its the Dyfi Enduro’s 20th birthday. So you can expect an epic of epic rides and a celebration to match, certainly not something that should be missed.
Just to repeat, there is no need to contact us regarding refund or carry over, further information will be issued during the coming week.
Stay safe and keep washing those hands.
